Counting On

I am learning to count on from the bigger number.

“I put 5 plus 6 on my board then I did 6 plus 5 because 6 was the biggest number.  Then I put 6 in my head and counted 5 more.”

Swimming

I have been learning to swim with my head in the water.  It is a bit tricky but I am going to keep practising.

My Family

I was born in  New Zealand but the rest of my family is from South Africa.  There are are five people in my family.  We like to play Monopoly.  We like to bbq on fire. Chloe March 2016

In writing I have been writing about my family.  I have been learning to put my capital letters and full stops in the right places.

I liked writing about my family, it was fun.  I did find it a little tricky to get all the capital letters right.

Room 7's Botanic Garden Trip

          Room 7 went to the Auckland Botanic Gardens on the 17th November, 2015.

                   We learnt how compost is made naturally using FBI - Fungus,                 Bacteria and Invertebrate and how to make our own worm farm and compost bin.

          We were very tired at the end but we had an amazing day!

Look what I can write now!

This term I have been learning to use punctuation such as full stops, comma's and speechmarks and write more than one idea with details related to the topic.
